You can book:
- Telephone appointments
- Face to face appointments
- Home visits
Appointments can be made online, by calling 01233 622474 or by attending in person at the practice. We may ask you a few questions to help us direct you to the most appropriate clinician.
If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible so that the slot may be given to someone else.
Telephone appointments are ideal for those patients who simply want to discuss their symptoms or management of an existing illness. They are ideal for those with a busy lifestyle or those who may struggle to attend the practice.
The GP's will make call back attempts however if the call is not picked up a message will be left for the patient to call again.
Face to face Routine appointments can be made well in advance; others can be made on the day, depending on availability.
Did Not Attend
If there are 3 DNA's without good reasons then the practice reserves the right to de-register patients due to the wasting of the appointment time.
Daily appointments are available with a Nurse Practitioner for acute problems which need urgent assessment. Please telephone the surgery to book an appointment.
Home visits can be arranged for patients who are too ill to attend the practice. Please telephone the surgery early in the day if a home visit is required and give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls.
The Practice offers late appointments on alternate Wednesday and Thursday evening, primarily for those who have difficulty in attending during normal opening hours. The appointments are from 18.30 to 20.30 and can be booked in advance by telephoning on 01233 622474.
Translation and interpretation
If you need any additional services such as a translator, please let our reception staff know when you book your appointment and this will be arranged for you.
