We intend to continually grow and develop the services we offer to fully meet the needs of our patient population. Please feel free to speak to your clinician or to our reception staff about the services available to you. The following list gives examples of the services that we offer:

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be a least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

The practice staff speak a number of languages and to help patients we have documented them below along with whether they are fluent or not.
This does not take away your right to have access to an interpreter but the practice felt that this may help some of our patients who do not have English as their first spoken language.

Dr Adetunji: Yoruba (fluent) and Arabic (some).
Nurse John: Malayalam (fluent) and Hindi (some).

The criteria for eligibility is set nationally and people who may qualify are those who:
1. May need assistance on route.
2. Are registered with a Kent & Medway GP.
3. Are going to or from an NHS appointment (not emergency or privately funded care) or home from a hospital stay.
4. Are going for physically demanding treatment such as dialysis.
5. Cannot use other forms of transport because of the ir medical or physcial condition.
